The run up to Christmas has been ... err EPIC, in so many ways. I've been buying and selling, painting and stripping, basing and re-basing. Eventually I find myself with four large armies. Two are old ones (my Space Marines and Orks) that have been re-vamped and modernised, whereas two are completely new.
This post is dedicated to one of my favourite armies in EPIC; my Ork army. Now, 'die-hard' fans (which, I am sure that there are many) may remember around two years ago a post hailing the completion of 'Phase one' of my EPIC Ork army. Phase two was mentioned with a large list of things to be painted, and I'm sure that you are expecting this list to have been fulfilled. However, over time, I have realised that most of the items I wanted to paint would never be used; I therefore reduced the amount - quite considerably - to the below:
- Basing all the tanks within the army
- Adding nine new Flakk Waggons
- Adding three new objectives.
And that is it. Really I've added some more ground flakk and made the army look a lot prettier. Hopefully you'll agree as you feast your eyes on the below:

I wouldn't need that many boarboyz either...
I could mount all my infantry in Orkesaurus, which would look ace!...
Then all I would need is four Squig Catapults...
... oh dear! Looks as though I haven't finished my Orks after all!
