A tale of 4 very ancient gamers

Anyone who knows Games Workshop would of herd of the 'tale of 4 gamers' article in White Dwarf ages ago. Well the idea is that 4 friends build an army over a certain period of time, with each other helping the other along. At the end a big battle takes place and everyone is happy.

In August 2007 this was the idea me and 3 friends had about building a 2,000 point 28mm Ancient army over a year (so 500 points every three months).

Well it hasn't really gone to plan and here we are in 2009 and I only have 500 points painted. It's a shame really as I really enjoyed painting my Greek Ancient army but other things got in the way. I do hope to complete the army but when ... who knows.
