Mordheim - Skaven

Lurking below the cities surface, Skaven are frequent visitors to Mordhiem. With the seemly endless supply of Warpstone located in Mordhiem, Skaven warbands scavenge this destroyed city more and more (making it more and more dangerous for humans to venture far).

Compared to my Marienburg warband this skaven force looks like an army ... and that's how it's supposed to be. Fast, agile and cunning (as cunning as a fox who has just achieve a 1st in a cunning degree at the university of cunning) Skaven can be a very difficult warband to beat, however there armour and toughness gives them a weakness for enemies to exploit.

Within my warband I have:

2x Assassin's
1x Sorcerer
3x Black skaven
2x Night runners
13x Verminkin
5x Giant Rats

May the best rat win!

Mordheim

Mordheim is the fantasy equivalent of Necromunda ... warbands running around destroyed cities fighting each other, gaining experience, new skills and equipment. It is allot of fun ... sadly this game system also goes in the 'not enough time to play the game' pile of game systems.

Below are some pictures of my Marienburg warband; Marienburg are rich wealthy merchants that fight within Mordhiem for reputation, sport and fun.

Within my small but elite warband I have:

1x Captain (with a brace of duelling pistols of course)
1x Champion (with a sword and shield)
1x Young blood (with a flail)
4x Swordsmen (with 2 swords each)
2x Marksmen (with 2 pistols each)

I really like the Marienburg models ... some of the best models Games Workshop have ever produced
